Hi, I had several times this kind of flower stalk on my D.capensis,
     and the seeds are very viable, as any D.capensis seeds:) So
     hope you'll be happy to be crowded by twice seeds as usual;)
     It's perhaps because the plant is happy... i don't know...
     but i have an orchid who do 2-3 flowers by pseudobulb when it
     is really happy, and only one when it is not too bad, so its
     perhaps the same things. Btw, i just browse on you web page,
     which i had never seen before, and it is really great!! i like
     it:) Keep growing and posting cp photo:) Take care
