In case nobody answers your question about waterlilies, although the
precise definition of carnivorous is a matter of taste, by the one that
most subscribers would agree with the waterlily would not be considered
carnivorous.
The pollinating insect is usually released unharmed - only a weak
specimen is likely to die as a result of its entrapment. If the insect
dies, there is no evidence that the waterlily secretes any digestive
enzymes to benefit.
