        I don't think you could well adapt D.rotundilfolia to full sun,
unless you start with seed and/or dormant buds. Also, they do grow much
larger and in far larger numbers in the shade. I don't think you would be
successful if you tried growing them in full sun in cultivation either.
Those plants are something you will only see in the wild.
