I think the method used by the micropropagation unit at Kew Gardens for
fine seed was to make a small envelope of filter paper. Put the fine
seed into the envelope and seal it with a metal staple. The package was
put into a flask containing the solution and put onto a magnetic
stirrer. I think one of the advantages with this method is that not only
is it easier to remove the seed from the solution but several batches of
seed can be sterilised at once.
