What are the ideal growing conditions for this guy. I've been trying to grow
a tiny one since last fall and haven't had much luck it came with 2 tiny tissu
e cultured leaves 3 cm long. Since then one died and the other leaf has yellow
ed slightly. Two new extra tiny stub leaves have grown. Currently the plant i
s in an eastern exposure in 70-80% RH and temperatures days are 80F nights 60F.
It is growing in an open mixture of orchid bark dead long fibre sphagnum a bit
or perlite. I fertilize it with a weak miracid solution monthly and mist it g
enerally in its vented terrarium twice a day. Is this an extra ordinarily slow
growing plant as I have N. maxima seeds that have rapidly outpaced this plant.
Otherwise it seems healthy enough and doesn't seem in imminent danger or of r
otting. I did get brave and use superthrive twice without any miraculous or fa
tal developments. Kirk
