Kirk,

N. lowii is a high-altitude plant that needs to be much
cooler. Based on my limited experience, it should reach a low
of from 50F to 55F at night, and a high of 70F during the day. I
believe the stress from too much heat can seal the plant's fate
before you actually see any signs of damage.

High RH and misting is good, but watch the medium carefully for algae
& fungus, which can do it in quickly at such a small size. N. maxima
is going to grow faster anyway, so don't fret it. When you finally
get a pitcher with those terrific red bristles under the lid, you're
going to go nuts!

Am I right, anyone? What about light intensity?
