Hi John,
During their first year(s) all the up-right species look about the
same. Infact, the immature leaves of Heliamphora also look similar to
Sarracenia. It is also hard too tell young plants of Heliamphora
apart, but like Sarracenia, the species should have some indentifible
coloration. The difference can be seen best when they are grown in the
same conditions (light!). While you might not be able tell which is
which right away you should be able to group (most of) them by color
and height.
