Yeah, but we have all those tall montains in the west... The
east coast montains are much lower and thus warmer.

P.S. When I was on Mt. Wastington, I did not see any Sphagnum
what so ever. Of course, this doesn't mean it's not there but
it seemed a little too dry to support such plants (P.villosa,
Sphagnum). Sure is cold up there though.
