I do not know of a bible for growing and raising them but for
identifying _Nepenthes_, you should consult:

Danser, B(enedictus) H(ubertus) (1928) "The Nepenthaceae of the
Netherlands Indies", Bulletin du Jardin Botanique Buitenzorg, Ser.
III, 9 (3-4): 249-438.

It is not perfect (it does e.g. not consider Madagascar, the
Seychelles, India, Ceylon, Indochina, the Philippines, and all species
described after 1928) and partially outdated but it is still (and I
am afraid it will remain for quite a long time) the opus that is
closest to a proper taxonomic monograph of the genus.

Try to get photocopies from a library.
