     Aphids comes to mind. This is the time of year they get active. Will
     they hurt your plants. They sure will especially the new growth.
     You will need to deal with them aggressively otherwise they can get
     out of control fast.
      Mites like lurking under leaves. They also can cause a lot of damage
     if not controlled. Try 50 percent water to 50 percent rubbing alcohol.
     I also use a product from Ortho called ISOTOX. It works very well on
     almost all CPs. Be careful using this product as it is not considered
     environmentally safe.

I've noticed these very small black insects crawling on my plants. They =
are really hard to see, look like some sand on the leaves, but they =
move. I think it's some kind of mite. They seem to prefer my vft and =
sarracenia. Can they hurt my plants? How can I safely remove them? =
Manually is almost impossible because they're so small, although it =
seems it's not a great number of them.
