Being a Southern Hemisphere grower I feel able to comment.
If you are growing the plants from seed - no problem. However, on the
occassions I have imported plants from the Northern Hemisphere, not just CP,
it can be difficult getting them adjusted to that 6 month jump on the plants
'internal clock' especially if the plant has a natural dormancy period.
I've tried refridgeration, I've tried heat, I've tried just ignoring it and
it still takes a couple of years for the plants to adjust and grow properly.
Some die - most make it, eventually. Seedlings are easier than mature plants.
Anybody got a sure fire method for getting plants to survive inter
hemisphere transportation?
