I am using wire netting to protect some of my pots from birds.
I roll it up to a cylindric shape and put over the pot.
The netting is simply wrapped around the pot, it is not necessary
to cover the top opening, the birds never enter from here.
This way the plants get 100 % light , 100 % protection from birds
and fragile Sarracenia leaves are not knocked over by the wind
any more.
The plants can be reached easily from above or by removing the
wire netting.
