To the best of anyone's knowledge, has there ever been
a report of a veinless form of S. purpurea purpurea (i.e.
anthocyanin production in the growth point and surrounding
damaged tissue, but no visible anthocyanin expression
elsewhere in the plant)? I do know that both veinless
and heterophylla forms of S. purpurea venosa have been
reported, as well as S. purpurea purpurea f. heterophylla.
Thanks in advance,
