Everyone keeps talking about how drosera love lots of sun. I have a D.
capensis that I used to have outside, but it wasnt producing any dew, so
I moved it into a window that recieves only soft morning sun in an
air-conditioned room and the plant grew many new leaves and got lots of
dew. I recently repotted it outside one afternoon. After about 1 hour,
of being in the sun, while I was repotting my other plants, the leaves
were all black and charred. Right now, they are all black and curling
in. I moved it into my terrerium that has 4 40 watt bulbs. It has just
started growing a new leaf but has not let out any tenticles, so I dont
know if it has dew. So obviously, not all sundews absolutely love
light.
