Hi Scott,

Plantlets on flower stalks is something that the nitidula complex is
very susceptible to - some of my collection have them at the
moment. It is possible that this phenomenon is triggered by
reduced light conditions, and I couldn't argue with that.

In my experience it would be better to sever the plantlet and
dibble it into some moist compost. In fact, when transplanting
pygmy Drosera, kinking the hair-like roots can be fatal and you
are probably better off chopping the roots off completely and
trying to re-root them from scratch.
