Thanks Juerg, I have had adventitious plantlets without flower organs
growing on leaf stalks before (this seems quite common on the D
nitidula complex and on Dionaea), but nothing like this. Although I
don't need another D capensis, I will detach the mutant flower and try
to grow it on. Terms like apical meristem come to mind - it could
be interesting.
